Shipping

Shipping is free over $35 within the United States.  Orders under 16 ounces ship via First Class Mail.  Orders over 16 ounces ship via Priority Mail.  Very heavy orders may ship via Parcel Post or UPS.

Free shipping only applies to one shipment per order.  If part of your order is back-ordered, the whole order will be held until it is all ready to ship.  If you would like your order to ship in multiple parts, you are responsible for the cost of shipping on the second part.

Please note that while nearly all orders ship within 24 hours, this in no way implies a guarantee. Orders placed on the weekend (Friday night through Sunday) may not ship until Tuesday.

Returns

Only new, unwashed, unworn, unused, sealed (if applicable) items in their original packaging can be returned or exchanged, and only within 30 days of purchase.  If a product is broken or otherwise defective, contact us or visit the manufacturer's website.  Many of the manufacturers prefer to handle defects and product problems themselves.  Additionally, all 'freebies' must be returned with the related order, and the value will be deducted from any refund or store credit if they are not returned.

Used items, clearance items, seconds and special orders/special releases such as Tokidoki cannot be returned.  We also do not accept returns on personal care items such as deodorant and menstrual cups or safety related items such as car seats and baby carriers. 

ALL RETURNS/EXCHANGES MUST BE THROUGH THE RMA SYSTEM.  Returns or exchanges received without a Return Merchandise Authorization will be returned to sender. 

If you would like to make a return/exchange, follow these steps:

1.  Log into your account (link at the top of every page labeled "My Account."
2.  Click on "View Details" next to the order you wish to return.
3.  Click on "Add new RMA."
4.  Fill out the form and click "Save RMA."
5.  You will be contacted with further instructions when your RMA has been updated.

Return/Exchange Shipping & Refunds

You are responsible for paying the return shipping costs to HBC.  If you are receiving a refund or store credit or exchange, the original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund or credit or exchange value. Returns for a refund are also subject to a 10% restocking fee.  For example:  You order a $20 diaper and we ship it for free, but it actually costs us $2 to ship.  You return the diaper.  It costs you $2 to ship it to us, and we refund you $16 or issue store credit for $18. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment whenever possible. If you are exchanging an item, we will invoice you for the shipping costs of the new item.

Defective Merchandise

All product defects must be handled by the manufacturer.  This is their policy.  Please contact them directly.  If they require a receipt, you can view and print this through your account.

Privacy & Security Policy

We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will never sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Order Acceptance

Your receipt of an electronic or other form or order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell.  Happy Baby Company reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason or to supply less than the quantity that you ordered of any item.
